People’s Credit Repair is a credit repair company that opened in 2012. They focus on using disputes to remove negative or inaccurate information from customer’s credit reports, boosting their FICO score while at the same time offering additional services to help build credit once the restoration process is complete.

The first positive aspect of the company we found was that they help consumers figure out what to dispute on their credit report, including inaccurate or false information which may include things like late or missed payments, liens, bankruptcies, judgements, and more. This lets consumers raise their credit score by removing false information, helping them qualify for better rates on loans and credit applications.

People’s Credit Repair also gained points in our review because they offer a number of case studies and credit report examples from previous customers. This will let customers feel at ease with the knowledge that the firm can deliver the results they promise, and lets consumers verify that the company will be able to help them boost their credit score.

The final pro we’d like to highlight is that they offer an additional service to help consumers find the financial products that will help boost their credit score. This stands in contrast to many other credit repair firms that only focus on removing negative information from credit reports, and so they get a few extra points in our review.

People’s Credit Repair isn’t perfect. The first issue we have is their website is poorly put together. Information is hidden in random locations, or not available at all. The result is wasted time while consumers look for the information they need to help them make decisions. Moreover, our research shows that credit repair firms with better put-together websites frequently perform better on customer evaluations, both in terms of satisfaction and service.

People’s Credit Repair has some other issues, including the fact that they lack a clear description of their rates and fees. This means consumers will have to set an appointment or reach them by phone to get more information, potentially wasting the consumer’s valuable time and energy. Moreover, our research shows that companies with transparent pricing and fee structures have better marks for customer satisfaction and service.

People’s Credit Repair also gets bumped down a few rankings because they don’t offer any kind of money back guarantee. This is a bit troubling as it indicates that the firm might be more interested in making money than in helping their customers. This is an especially important consideration for the credit repair industry because so much of the process is out of the hands of the credit repair firm and instead is controlled by credit reporting agencies.

People’s Credit Repair isn’t one of the better credit repair companies we looked at. They do have some unique services, but they don’t have the information or services list that we look for in the best credit repair firms. Customers might be better off going elsewhere unless they are getting a favorable rate from People’s Credit Repair.
